George | Robert Reuben | Ruben | 1897_04_29 | Greenhill | RoH: Confederate. In 1880, a Rueben George, born in NC, lived in Sullivan with wife Malinda. They had married in Moultrie County, 28 Nov 1865. In 1860, she was living in Sullivan, a housekeeper for John Thomason. Mr. Thomason was born in NC, and it is likely that Rueben George's move to IL so soon after the war was due to some relationship with the Thomasons.
