Widow Emily filed for pension in IL, 10 (15?) Apr 1915. An Emily Kennedy, age 70, lived in Piatt Co., IL in 1920. though no corresponding 1910 entry has been found and there is no indication about whether this is the same person.

His age matches the 1860 Moultrie census and wife's name (Nancy) matches the Moultrie marriage index, but birthplace differs (IN vs. OH). However, this may be the same person.

TWM: lost an arm in battle, discharged Sept 21, 1863; and died at home.
