Boone Rhodes, being first duly sworn on his oath, deposes and says that he is the grantee in the deed from Tobias Rhodes and Jennetty Rhodes his wife, said deed being dated May 20, 1872 and recorded in the recorder's office of Moultrie county, Illinois, in book 12 of deeds, at page 567. Affiant further says that the land intended to be conveyed by said deed is the "south half of the east half of the southwest quarter of the southwest quarter of section 18, township 14, North Range 5, east of the 3rd p.m., in the county of Moultrie, and state of Illinois," and that the Justice of the Peace who prepared said deed made a mistake in writing the description and described said land as the "south half of the east part of the southwest quarter of the southwest quarter of said section18."

Affiant further says that under and by virtue of said deed he entered into possesion of "the south half of the east half of the southwest quarter of the southwest quarter of said section 18" and remained in possession of said land until he sold and conveyed the same to William M. Shipman on February 27, 1905. Affiant further says that he is personally acquainted with Michael C. Fitzgerald and that he, the said Michael C. Fitzgerald, is one and the same person as M. C. Fitzgerald. Affiant further says that he is personally acquainted with Mary Delahunty, grantor in the deed from Mary Delahunty to M. C. Fitzgerald, said deed being dated March 22, 1878 and recorded in the recorder's office of Moultrie County, Illinois, in book 33 of deeds at page 327.

Affiant further says that the said Mary Delahunty was a single woman at the time she executed said deed on towit: the 22nd day of March A. D. 1878.

Affiant further says that he is personally acquainted with Winfield Oregon Haulman, and that he, the said Winfield Oregon Haulman is one and the same person as Winfield O. Haulman and W. O. Haulman, and that Mary C. Haulman is one and the same person as M. C. Haulman.

Affiant futher says that he is personally acquainted with William M. Shipman and that he, the said William M. Shipman is one and the same person as William Shipman and W. M. Shipman.

Further affiant says not.
